Getting slim

People over-complicate this
they go on & on
but they talk nonsense
It’s quite simple
If you like to eat
And you eat a lot
Like most people 
You have two options
to lose fat
Either you move more
Or you eat less

It’s called insulin sensitivity
Notice how many athletes
Have a lot of muscle
But almost no fat
It’s because of what they eat
Not how much they eat

Fat is separate from muscle
It’s like having two cars
One is diesel
One is petrol 
If you put petrol in the diesel
The diesel won’t work
If you are fat and you eat carbs
You just get fatter
Fat is fueled by carbs

People like carbs
Because they release dopamine
So you feel good
That’s why you eat chocolate 
When you’re sad
But 
It’s not a good idea

Also
How much you eat can be a factor
But only if you eat junk
And you smoke
Or drink alcohol 
Or both
Or you simply
Have an uncontrollable appetite

Most athletes are lean
Because 
They are insulin sensitive
Athletes eat a lot
But Insulin is a signalling hormone
If you are insulin resistant aka fat
You are feeding fat cells
To stop feeding fat cells
You need to keep insulin quiet

Carbs increase insulin 
So the simple way to get lean
Is to cut carbs
You cut carbs until the fat goes
When the fat goes
You can eat carbs again

What you need to understand
Is the scale means nothing
Many people have a normal weight
But they are fat
They are fat
Because they eat too many carbs

If they don’t eat carbs
And they are still too fat
They eat too much fat
That’s as simple as it can be



 1. Cut carbs
2. Cut calories
3. When you cut carbs - eat more protein
4. When you cut carbs - eat red meat - you need the fat & the micro nutrients in red meat
