Justine was incredible yesterday, Monday night nerves were replaced with confidence, and now she just has to colour the piece. No pages were missed. The theatre was brimming over with my friends and I was lucky enough to have Trevor Nunn there with my lovely friend Nancy Dell'ollio, Vivienne Westwood and Andreas Kronthaler, Tracey Emin, The Delevignes, Hannah Rothschild (who is my oldest friend in the whole room) all came to support me. My beautiful friend Rushka Bergman came from New York. So all is merry. I have lovely messages. One friend said I suppose I knew you would never be happy with the chicken run, in life. Funny ones, people think that what I am saying in it is what I think today, no, this is what I thought yesterday. I am happy now ..
Then there was a party for everybody back at my house. The house was full, bursting with pals. Delicious food by Mark Hix. AMANDA
