PAULINE AMOS, MICHAEL NYMAN and TOMAS, AMANDA ELIASCH AND STEPHANIE THEOBALD

Skin is another surface, the thought provoking music conjured unexpected emotions, while Tomas watched on.
Pauline Amos did performance art, over existing paintings, skin, putting black tape, depicting torture, pain and sorrow, World War Two. Misery to the background sound of white noise from the radio. I met Pauline in Los Angeles with Meredith Ol,strom and was amused to see that they both took off their kit in the same week.. Great influences on each other.

MICHAEL NYMAN

Was a very good sport, he played enthusiastically on a piano which was more suitable for a pub. As a huge fan of The Piano, it's music and stunning photography, I was thrilled he ended with his brilliant composition. Unfortunately he didn't win the Oscar as he was against Schindlers List. Timing is everything, but surely he should have a nomination? No, he didn't get that either.

AMANDA ELIASCH AND STEPHANIE THEOBALD, SVETLANA

Stephanie luckily interviewed me and we ended up in a discussion "What is the difference between Eroticism and Porn" I had nothing to say really. My book is not salacious and I look naughtier than I am. I thought I had given an honest portrayal of last year, without harming or offending anybody, a tricky line as it is almost inevitable. A man in the audience thought differently. It was hot, so I left Stephanie to deal with it in an appropriate feministic way. I love Stephanie and her blog. She makes me feel elated, well read and an asset. She is the social editor at Harpers. and is a very funny writer. Check out her new book.A partial indulgence. THANK YOU.
Svetlana I do not know, but like a bouncy puppy she lapped up my book and spoke cleverly too.
